Andy's buddy, Riad, got married in July, so it was a college reunion!
We made our annual trip back to MN this summer. Highlights included: tubing, water engineering, boat rides, fishing, 4-wheeler rides and kayaking.
The total solar eclipse of August 21st passed over Oregon, just a bit south of us. We had originally planned on a trip to the mountains to see it there, but there were a lot of fires and smoke, so we opted to cancel that trip and stay in the valley. We found a local baseball game that made an event out of it! They has NASA reps on hand for presentations and questions and a had a first ever game delay due to a solar eclipse!
Ben stayed after and got his ball signed by a bunch of the players.
We babysat cousin Levi so Adam and Stephanie could go on a date! He was sure fun to have around!
Labor Day tradition continues - Sun River time! We had to endure some rough traffic because of the fires near the mountain pass (3 hours!). There were flames just off of the road!
We made it safely and had fun with family (even through the smoke!)
Eli turned 7!
