A day in the life of our walnut tree.

I raked the entire front yard and sidewalk and driveway of leaves and walnuts 24 hours before this picture was taken... Can you even tell???

"Ben, where's the "D"?

Playing in the leaves

Laughing at daddy jumping off the front porch...

I love this one!
Drawing with chalk in a little spot that we cleared of leaves.

Fun times in the yard! Except for yesterday, when mommy got stung in the belly by a stupid yellow jacket. Ouch. I chose NOT to take a picture of the softball-sized swollen bullseye on my stomach. I will leave that to your imagination...

My Little Helper

Here he is:

Raking leaves...

and being cute at the park.

and a few short clips... The first is of head-banging toddler dancing to a construction truck rock tune...

and another of some more words... Purple and Poo-poo and buja buja buja (or yabadabadoo)

Buh-bles

We played with sticks, walnuts, chalk and dirt and then

we played with bubbles for a long time,

...until mom packed up the bubbles because it was time for nap...

Here are some pumpkin spider-web cookies that I made last night... Super easy!

Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

We got one in this weekend because the weather was too good NOT to... We are planning on going to Sauvie Island to a different patch next weekend. Just in case the weather changes next weekend, we've got a few pictures to put in the baby book...

All tuckered out...

We went to a small brewfest at Oaks Park (an amusement park that was shut down for the season, but held this event anyway) on Saturday afternoon, then headed to grandma's to celebrate great grandpa's 92nd (!!) birthday. The day must have tuckered out the little one. He fell asleep about 1 minute after leaving grandma's house, with his new sock monkey in his arms... Just like daddy's sock monkey from his childhood, named, "Bring".

Like My New Haircut?

They do such a great job at Kids Castle in Tigard - It's worth the drive and the $$.
All ready for bed in my brand new jammies.

I have today and Friday off of school. I've finally gotten some house cleaning done, by taking Ben to daycare in the morning. He's so fun at this stage, it's hard to give up any time with him. Lately, he is having fun playing with sidewalk chalk, running, playing with all of his toys, saying "poo-poo", and watching mommy go crazy watching the Minnesota Twins on TV.
