Holidays!

November and December were: bonfire night at Nancy and Brian's, Grant and Emmett's b-day party, swimming lessons for both boys (which they both loved!), holiday preparations - getting and decorating the tree, leaving cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer, family gatherings, a Christmas play at the Children's Theater in Oregon City, a trip to MN the day after Christmas for a week.

 Fun with Grandma!

 Fun with grandpa!

Lots of UNO, Skip-Bo, Phase 10 and the Game of Life.  Little snow and cold temps make for lots of indoor fun.

We bundled up a few days for exploring in the woods.  We found deer trails and deer beds.

And attempted a snow angel with very little snow...
A trip to the Mall of America.  The boys loved the Rainforest Cafe and Lego-land.  Eli did one ride at Nickelodeon Universe, but mostly the boys just watched the rides.

A great holiday season celebrated with family from near and far!

October!

October was... Finishing up a fun soccer season, Pumpkin Patch with friends,  Eli banging the corner of his eye into a door jam and dealing with his 1st ER visit, carving pumpkins and Halloween! (In random order)

Here is Eli, post ER visit (he just had 'the glue' - so no stitches) with a massive, very adhesive Band-Aid. Thanks, Doc.  I think I removed part of Eli's eyebrow when that thing come off. Fun.

 New Dundee Fire Station visit.
 Halloween Dress Rehearsal.
